It should be noted that the Singapore Airlines currently only operates 3 VTL flights to Singapore from India. These are SQ403 (ex DEL), SQ423 (ex BOM) & SQ529 (ex MAA). And the other SIA flights from India are non-VTLs.
According to the updates, Singapore Airlines currently operates selected VTL flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. The reports suggested that Vistara operates VTL flights from Mumbai while Chennai has only one VTL flight, which operates SIA. Delhi has one VTL flight and the rest are all non-VTL flights.
By imposing the restrictions, the Singapore government had said last month that it would temporarily reduce VTL quotas and ticket sales for travel after January 20, 2022. allocated quota.

Guidelines for traveling on VTL/Non-VTL flights:
- The travelers must apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) to enter Singapore and fly on designated Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flights.
- Passengers should take into account that the VTL flights are indicated with a VTL designation in the booking system.
- The passengers on non-VTL flights are subject to 7-day home quarantine measures/Stay-Home Notice (SHN) in Singapore.
- However, short-term visitors are not allowed to enter Singapore on these flights unless they hold a valid approval from the ICA.
- The passengers entering Singapore must meet the country’s Covid-19 testing requirements.
- Passengers are required to have a negative Covid-19 pre-departure test within two days of flight departure.
- From January 23, 2022, the VTL travelers who have recently recovered from Covid-19 will be exempt from all testing requirements.
