February Holiday Week Camps at Trustees in Hingham, Marshfield

HINGHAM – The Trustees of Reservations will host student activities at their properties in Marshfield, Norwell and Hingham from February 21 to 26.

“Families are eager to find special things to do during the holidays and The Trustees create unique programs to encourage them to spend time outdoors,” Anne Smith-White, portfolio director of Trustees South Shore, said in a statement.

Students ages 12 to 15 can participate in a “Climate Change Challenge” by participating in games and observation at Weir River Farm in Hingham on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 22-23. Participants learn about global warming.

Weir River will also host a “Biomimicry-in-Action Workshop” on Thursday and Friday, February 24 and 25, both from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Teens enrolled in this program learn about natural world composition and engineering design.
