For those looking to fly to the big game, the good news is that the host city of Los Angeles is home to one of the busiest airports in the country. As a result, Priceline says the average round-trip airfare to the host city is $210, about 48% lower than the Super Bowl in Tampa in 2020.

This non-stop itinerary is well-priced for a long weekend in Los Angeles to watch the Super Bowl. Leave early Friday and be home Tuesday evening. That’s a weekend well spent.
This Alaska Airlines round-trip fare is non-stop on the way home, but requires a stopover on the way home. Also note that the route departs from Newark (EWR) and returns in New York-Kennedy (JFK). However, getting to LA for the big game for the price of $270 is a great option.
At less than $150 round trip, this non-stop United trip from Chicago to Los Angeles lets you experience a Super Bowl weekend in person in an inexpensive way.
Cleveland (CLE) to Los Angeles (LAX) for a $295.20 round trip with United Airlines
If you prefer, this fare allows you to fly from United to Los Angeles from Cleveland, Ohio, for a round trip ticket of $295.20. It requires a layover to LAX, but you can travel from Saturday to Tuesday.
This route goes from Boston to Ontario (ONT), which is actually in California – not Canada. For just over $250 you can fly there and back from Saturday to Monday.
If you’re already stuck with the idea of going to the Super Bowl, make sure you book your flight the right way to get the most out of your purchase. For example, there are a number of credit cards that provide additional rewards or benefits when you book a trip with them.
