The NHL’s withdrawal from the Olympics means this isn’t the star-studded border battle we once hoped it would be, but it’s still a potential gold-medal-game preview and will almost certainly decide who wins Group A. The Americans routed China, 8-0, in their opener, and Canada took care of Germany, 5-1.

The rhythm dance will be followed by the free dance Sunday night in prime time Eastern, with medals handed out at the end.
