RHOBH’s Sutton Stracke says that it’s been hard to move on after filming season 12’s cast trip to Aspen. Rumors about what went down have been flying.
Sutton Stracke and the rest of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast are still trying to move on after a disastrous trip to Aspen. Each season of the different variations of Real Housewives usually feature the ladies taking a domestic and/or international trip together, a tradition has continued despite the COVID-19 pandemic. While fights are almost guaranteed to take place — RHOBH season 11 featured the women arguing at Lake Tahoe, for example — the beautiful backdrop of Aspen, Colorado, was reportedly overshadowed by explosive arguments to the point that the drama has followed the women back home to their daily lives.
Rumors have been swirling of what exactly went down in Aspen during filming last month. With Sutton and Garcelle Beauvais suspected to have rehashed previous conflicts with Erika Jayne concerning her legal, financial, and marital problems, one of the first indications of an issue came when Garcelle unfollowed Erika on Instagram. Fans became even more concerned by a now-deleted comment Kathy Hilton left on husband Rick’s Instagram while still in Colorado: “Please call me I need to get out of here now!!!!!” Some of the ladies have left hints about the larger-than-life trip, with Sutton being the latest to comment on the situation.
Arriving at the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest in Los Angeles ahead of Superbowl LVI, Sutton told people that the cast trip has left everyone shaking. Telling the outlet that everyone is “still unpacking… in more ways than one,” the arguments reportedly reached their peak when Lisa Rinna intervened to take Erika’s side over the rest of the women. With Lisa and Erika said to have eventually left Aspen early, sources have confirmed that the cameras continued rolling. “I think we’re all still trying to pick up the pieces and figure it all out. Truly, I do,” Sutton spoke about the situation; addressing her purported feud with Erika, the 50-year old insinuated that there is no absolute standing between them, saying, “You never know, you never know.”
“This season is boggling my own mind, so when that happens, when I get confused, when I have to go home and think about things, then we’re in trouble,” Sutton continued count people† Although the Aspen trip was filmed a few weeks ago, the blow-ups were so huge, according to Sutton, that it’s even affecting her annual Superbowl experience. When asked about what she plans on doing for tonight’s showdown between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals, Sutton revealed that she is scaling back her celebration: “Look, these girls have got me tired,” the socialite admitted, “So I’m not actually cooking this year.”
Fans of the Real Housewives universe are excited to watch RHOBH season 12 play out now that multiple Housewives have come forward about the challenges of filming. With season 11 ending last November and production for RHOBH season 12 still underway, viewers still have months to go until they see the Aspen trip play out on-screen. Between Erika (real name Erika Girardi) and her troubles with estranged husband Tom and the return of Kathy as a friend, season 12 is also set to introduce a new addition, Diana Jenkins. As one of the longest installations on Bravo, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues to serve iconic looks and dramatic arguments.
