Lacrosse Hosts Loyola Maryland for Trip to Final Four

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College lacrosse team hosts No. 6 seed Loyola Maryland on Thursday in the NCAA Elite Eight matchup at 2:30 pm at the Newton Campus.

About the Eagles
Last Time Out

Boston College advanced to the Elite Eight for the fifth straight season after outlasting Denver 13-8 on Sunday. Charlotte North led the way with four goals and one assist in the victory, while Caitlynn Mossman and Jenn Medjid turned in hat tricks. Rachel Hall turned in a solid effort with eight saves and a .500 save percentage.

After North’s first goal of the game against the Pioneers, the Dallas native surpassed Courtney Murphy for the most goals in NCAA history. She is now at 345 goals for her career and counting.

– Loyola Maryland comes in as one of the most balanced teams Boston College will face this season. The 20-1 Greyhounds are third in scoring defense (7.48 goals allowed), fourth in scoring offense (16.76 goals per game) and second in scoring margin (9.29).
